Looking for a way to cut your energy bills, but aren't sure where to begin? Get a closer look at how you use energy around your home with the energy right® Home e-valuation. Call us for a questionnaire, then follow the simple instructions to conduct an energy audit of your home. Send in the completed forms and, in a couple of weeks, we'll send you a detailed customized report.

It's that easy. Which makes saving money a whole lot easier, too.

At Cherokee Electric, we understand the special needs of our members who are on a fixed income. Cycle 65 is a billing plan created with our retired and disabled members in mind. Through this program, your monthly payment date is changed to coincide with the arrival of your monthly check.

This service is provided free of charge to qualifying members.

Those higher winter power bills and fluctuating prices are a thing of the past! With Levelized Billing, your power bill each month is based on the average of your current usage plus the past 11 months. The result is monthly bills with very little fluctuation in price. This empowers you to have predictability of your power bill when you budget for the months ahead.

This service is provided free of charge to qualifying members.

What is worse than having to rush to pay your utility bill the day it is due? What if you could avoid the rush and hassle every month, while saving the postage to mail your payment?

With our Bank Draft Program, your account with Cherokee Electric Cooperative is automatically paid by your bank each month on or around the due date printed on your statement. And to keep your records straight you will still receive a statement each month showing your power usage and the amount debited to your account. The best thing is, you never have to worry about penalties for late payments again!

Difficult times come when we least expect them. Cherokee Electric's Operation Warm gives you an opportunity to help your neighbors who stand in need.

As participant in Operation Warm, one dollar ($1) will be added to your power bill each month. The money collected is used to assist the needy with their electrical bills. The funds collected through Operation Warm are administered through the Cherokee County Crisis Center.

This outstanding program allows members to round up their power bills to an even dollar amount with the extra money going into a special fund to assist area non-profit organizations. It costs each member only pennies, but the total contributions are outstanding.

To make paying your power bill more convenient, Cherokee Electric accepts both Visa and MasterCard. Credit card payments can be made over the phone, through the mail or in person at any one of our three offices.

A $2 fee is added to debit or credit card payments made by phone.
